From December 4 to 8, 2024, Moscow hosted the first international business mission featuring 4 publishers from different states of India. The program marked an important step in developing Russian-Indian cooperation in the field of literature.
Mission results:
Over five days of work, participants conducted 100 business meetings with 25 Moscow publishers, creating a solid foundation for future partnership projects. The intensive program of business contacts allowed both sides to exchange experience and discuss prospects for mutual book publishing.
A special highlight was the 2 business sessions held within the framework of the international non/fiction book fair. These meetings provided an opportunity to present Indian literature to a broad professional audience and deepen understanding of current trends in India's book market.
The mission demonstrated enormous potential for cultural exchange between the two countries through literature and laid the groundwork for long-term publishing cooperation.
